April 11th 2019. I had the opportunity to photograph during the construction of the Art in Bloom event at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. I was hoping to find flowers in front of the amazingly dramatic limestone walls of the main atrium. And when I arrived, I found just that - the beginnings of a garden oasis surrounded by the beautiful limestone backdrop! A perfect fit for my vague terrain project.

Digital Darkroom
w/Lisa Stinner-Kun
Saturdays, 10 am -1 pm
April 27 – June 22 (8 weeks, no class May 18)
$300 (+ MPA membership*)
This course explores a variety of Adobe Photoshop techniques that will allow students to improve their existing photographs and produce new images. Image enhancement techniques for manipulating density, colour balance and sharpness will be covered as well as using masking, layers, alpha channels and basic compositing. A rudimentary knowledge of Photoshop is an asset to taking the class.
Lisa has a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Photography and has exhibited her work locally, nationally and internationally. She is also an accomplished architectural photographer.
